back on the field
Become a world class footballer in 90 days, make the team, & live out your dreams.
Yesterday I trained in Arrow for 3 hours. I was back on the field for the first time in awhile. I've been out injured. It was a little frustrating at first because I wasn't in form and I was shooting in shoes that were a size or two too big. I have to send them back to Zappos. I figured out what was wrong with my shot about 30 minutes in -- I was leaning back while shooting and corrected it. My shots started to fall. I didn't have the accuracy I wanted so I went back to my technique and focused on shooting with perfect technique. I started smashing the ball -- really hitting it with power and my shots started to go in far post side netting. I kept shooting for 3 hours until I started to feel fatigued. I'm working my way back slowly. I don't want to pick up another injury. I put a lot of balls in the back of the net far post side netting. I'm capable of scoring at least 35 goals a season. I want to get back to that form. The only way to that level is to keep shooting. Going out there for hours a day, 4 days a week, for months at a time and shooting on goal. You will get exponentially better over time training this way. The longer you stay out there the better you'll get. Neuroplasticity works by having you concentrate on executing a task or skill for many hours a day, 4 days a week, until you are world class at it. If you're practicing training for an Olympic event like throwing the javelin and you throw the javelin for many hours a day, 4 days a week, for 3 months you will get exponentially better at throwing the javelin. You will be one of the best in the world operating at peak conditioning 3 months later. This is the way the human brain is hardwired to work. We aren't meant to spend years sitting at a desk or gaining on the job experience to learn how to execute a new skill or task proficiently. We are meant to study something extremely intensely for months to master it. This way you are connecting the dots and strengthening the connections much faster and stronger than if you took years to learn how to do things. Football is simple. It takes simple skills. Shooting, passing, and dribbling aren't hard. These are simple skills. It takes repetition to learn how to master these things. This can all be done in a short amount of time. Football is a simple game. The hardest thing is to play football simply. That takes repetition, getting Footballer's systems, using them for 3 months, and getting Footballer's ebook the Original 3 Formations. Then you will be world class.
